This week, we are going to talk about "Housework" - 家务 (jiāwù). 扫地 (sǎodì) "to sweep" 我扫地扫了一上午。 (Wǒ sǎodì sǎole yí shàngwǔ.) "I've been sweeping for a whole morning." 拖(tuō)"to mop" The thing you use to mop in Chinese is 拖把 (tuōbǎ) 我把房间拖了拖。 (Wǒ bǎ fángjiān tuō le tuō.) "I just moped the bedroom." 擦(cā)"to wipe" If I use a tissue, I wipe. 他在擦玻璃。 (Tā zài cā bōli.) "He is wiping the glass." 收拾(shōushi) 收拾(shōushi) means "to put things away" 把你的玩具都收拾好。 (Bǎ nǐ de wánjù dōu shōushi hǎo.) "Put away your toys." 洗(xǐ)"to wash" 我在洗衣服。 (Wǒ zài xǐ yīfu.)
