Di solito la parola "espresso" viene associata al caffè il caffè espresso, quindi si va al bar e si chiede: " posso avere un espresso per, favore?" e si intende il caffè. When you go to a coffee bar you ask for a espresso and you mean the coffee, right? so when you pronounce "espresso" there is no X in the word so you don't say expresso just eSpresso just an S Espresso means also "quick" so for example a train can be espresso. It means that it is a fast train or a bus also can be espresso it basically means that it reaches the destination in a shorter time than other buses or other trains That's basically it.
