Tri-O-Plex Bar Caramel Apple 12 bars

I'm a big fan of Chef Jay's caramel apple cookies (I think I would eat them outside of their protein benefit anytime, they're delicious with a glass of milk.) These protein bars however are something else. They are dry with a mealy consistency, and are difficult to choke down. I was so disappointed in this product, and don't know how I'm possibly going to eat the rest of the bars.

I have tried just about everything that chef jays has to offer. I like that they use a healthy carbohydrate, high protein content, and low saturated fat in their products. This is a lower calorie (300) protein bar and the peanut butter means that you won't be hungry 5 minutes after you eat it like so many other protein bars. It is a little dry so you need to drink some water or coffee with it but overall these are my favorite bars and I have eaten thousands over the last 10 years.

I've been ordering these bars for months now. They were good in the beginning, but for a couple of months they tasted dry and old. This last batch I ordered were much better, in fact the best Ive had. more moist, tastier, and just fresher overall. I hope they continue to ship and receive in the fresher ones.

Tri-o-plex bars have been a staple for years, but these PB&J bars are a poor mix of bone dry and sickly sweet.

No they are NOT candy bars but are PACKED with goo stuff like protein and other vitamins. Great for people trying to loose weight and for those who are trying to get buff.
