Gaia Herbs Liquid Phyto-Caps Siberian Rhodiola Rosea 100% Vegetarian Liquid-Filled Capsules 60 Capsu

I have just started taking this and really don't know how to say much about the product.
I do know that I have confidence in all GAIA products because they are all top of the line.
This particular product is not for everyone because there can be side effects. I ordered it on impulse before I had researched it. By the time I received it I knew that I was going to delay taking it and that my husband wouldn't be able to risk taking it because one of the occasional side effects can be hallucinations which is not something I want to add to his PD mix - he's already taking other meds which can cause this problem...and sometimes do.

But if you want Rhodiola Rosea, this is the one to buy.

I have tried these and had absolutely zero response from the recommended dose. I know what Rhodiola is supposed to feel like -- I had to DOUBLE the dosage in order to get anywhere near what I am expecting from Rhodiola rosea. My assumption is that this is because the company "grows the herbs at their remote farms in Western North Carolina." Wow, while that may be impressive for some products, with Rhodiola it is proven that the herbs develop their unique phytochemicals by being exposed to the harsh environment in places like northern Sweden, or Siberia. There is no way you can grow Rhodiola in the USA and achieve the same results. It is botanically impossible -- Canada is now starting to grow R. Rosea as a cash crop. While that may be interesting, farmed Rhodiola doesn't get its ZAP from being well tended! It has to be ethically wild crafted from the wild arctic zones. I'd give this product one or two stars -- I did get some effect, just not what was claimed.
