After researching this at Consumerlab.com, an independent tester of nutritional products, this is the product I selected. It had no contaminants (Citrinin or Lead) and contained a moderate dose (3.4 mg) of Lovastin and Hydroxy Acid Form, the active ingredients.
(Since supplements typically list only their amounts of red yeast rice and do not indicate the levels of lovastatin and other monacolins, it is very difficult to compare products. ConsumerLab.com's tests show that differences as great as 100-fold can exist in the amount of lovastatin across products, even among those claiming equivalent amounts of red yeast rice.)
Whether this product is appropriate for you is between you and your doctor, but it does not have contaminants and does stipulate it's statin dosage. Consumerlab.com is a subscription website. I recommend it if you take nutritional supplements.
