Psyllium Seed Powder - 1 lb,(Frontier)

If the item you see pictured is outlined in red, that means the product is organic. If it is outlined in green it means "natural" or better put it means "nothing" I thought I was purchasing a organic product & was thrilled...until it arrived. I could have swore the title said it was organic as well. Now it doesn't & I can't say 100% that it did. I feel mislead with my green outlined package...

The product itself is very handy to have if you are looking to safely increase your fiber to reduce either constipation or diarrhea! It binds wastes & makes them easier to pass. I like to use this loose bulk powder in my cooking. You have to adjust your recipes accordingly. You can sprinkle it on your already cooked food such as oatmeal. It tends to clump in little balls, so you really need to mix it. It can create a choking hazard due to it's swelling ability. Because of this I find I like to put it in my foods prior to cooking. If you take this item straight is is a must to consume it with PLENTY of water!

I find it easier to use to dump it out of it's bulk bag & store it in a tightly sealed glass jar...
