I have used Sambucol (the orginal imported from Israel). I use it every year prior to flu season and am pleased to say that I have had NO flu symptoms in more than 15 years. No flu shots for me! Two teaspoons twice daily for 3 or 4 days at the beginning of flu season beats a flu shot any day. I've advised those that show symptoms to use it and their recovery is remarkable! Less than 2 days and they are over it. NO medicine cabinet should be without this amazing product.

I love this because anytime I feel like I might be getting a little sniffle that is out of the ordinary or a sore throat, I begin using this Elerberry Extract. It works! I work in a hospital where I am in contact with viruses, etc, each day I'm there. This is great to kick it out before it can even get started. I take as recommended, not as an every day prevention - only a few days in a row when I feel there might be somthing trying to "sneak up" on me. Tastes great too!

Nearly three years ago I had no insurance and was infected with a serious viral throat infection - my throat essentially covered with canker sores making it almost impossible to swallow. I have since taken it any time I feel run down at all, and in the last three years have had one cold, and that had me out for about two days. It's a great product, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Also, another reviewer noted to purchase Saubucol made in Israel, as opposed to this. I have had no issues with this product at all, but if you can find Israeli made Sambucol with no additives, go for it.

Finally, I said there were two products I found. Thankfully the other can be found on Amazon as well. It is Extreme Immunity (white jug, green trim). I wrote a lengthy review on it's page as well. Suffice to say, it too was developed by scientists - biochemists in this case, and is backed by hard science which can be found on the company's website. I actually recommend Extreme Immunity over Sambucol, but both products are exceptional.

Do not buy Sumbucol made in France.
The reason is that it contains Artificial Raspberry Flavor, and it also contains Sodium Benzoate, toxic substance that may cause Parkinson's disease.
Buy Sambucol made in Israel, it is free of Artificial Flavors, does not contain Sodium Benzoate, and taste much better.
