Atkins - Adv Morning Cinnamon Bun Bar, 5 bars

Since I could not find these in any of the stores in the town where I live, I was thrilled that they were delivered so quickly. These are so good and help get me through the morning.

The "Atkins Day Break Bars" are a great tasting, low carb breakfast. While my kids don't like the flavor, my wife and I both do.

Being diabetic, I have to watch my carbs and the Atkins bars are a great way for me to have a good tasting breakfast without sending my blood sugar levels too high.

I bought these for my daughter who is trying high protien and low GI way of eating. She doesn't get a chance to eat from about 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. so I was looking for a meal replacement. I asked her how she liked them, and she said, "I would rather kiss my sister's and Sean's (her sister's boyfriend) feet every day for the rest of my life than take another bite." After that comment, I had to taste one for myself to see if she was being overly dramatic. I had to spit it out! It's really, really sweet--but in a bad way! No more bars for us.

I ended up giving these away after eating 1 a day for 2 days in a row. I thought they tasted YUCKY! Very dense and chewy...ewww it is making me need a glass of water just thinking about it!

its not a bun...its like all proteins, but the taste is so different...
