Republic of Tea Blackberry Sage (50 Tea Bags)

I took a chance of this tea since it was more than I normally like to spend, but I was intrigued by several things about it. For one, it's herbal, so it's great to sip before bed. For another, it's composed of blackberry, sage, and decaffeinated black tea. Yes, I know, you're thinking that's only what it says on the label. Well, many of the less expensive brands of tea through all manners of things in their teas like rose hips, hibiscus and more.

The pureness of this tea shines through in the light, mild taste. Both the berry and the sage are discernable in aroma and flavor, but are in good balance.

Just a side note, I was not as pleased with this as a hot tea. The flavor is so subtle that the heat masks the notes too much. However, as a lukewarm or cold tea, it is divine.
