Better than you can imagine
My hair is thick and coarse, and usually dry. I picked this up maybe six months ago, used it prior to washing my hair a few times and never went back to it. Two months ago I decided to give it another try, this time after towel drying my hair (which I wash and condition as always). I can't believe the difference. My hair feels so silky that I can't stop running my hands over it. I usually just let it air dry and if I scrunch it I get soft, gentle curls. I can't believe this is the same hair that used to look like I should be wearing tie-dye and polishing up my Woodstock bumper sticker. I've never used anything else that gave me such good results and I highly recommend this to everyone.

Not so natural anymore! OWNED BY CLOROX NOW!
I love Burt's Bees lip balm, and diaper cream, and lots of their other products, and Burt's Bees USED TO BE a good choice for people trying to make greener choices for themselves and the environment. Not so anymore. Burt's Bees has been bought by CLOROX. Yes, that's right, CLOROX. As usual a decent green company has been sucked up by a major polluter. You can read about it in the New York Times Business section by using your search engine with the terms "Burt's Bees", "Clorox", and "New York Times". Clorox says it wants to learn to be more green. Yeah, sure! They just want a piece of the pie when it comes to taking the money of green conscious consumers. You can bet that they won't be putting the word "Clorox" on the Burt's Bees label! I for one am tired of trying to buy green and ending up padding the wallets of great big polluting corporations. If you want to buy personal products that are better for you and the environment, try using your search engine to search for "Compact for Safe Cosmetics". You will find lists of companies that are the real thing, and not corporate wolves hiding behind a natural label. BYE BYE BURT, WE LOVED YOU!

Not that great...
I have only used Burt's Bees lip balm before, but I have heard so much about it that I requested this as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, I was not impressed (and yes, I followed directions). It had an dirty, flat smell, that I didn't find particularly appealing. It was also difficult to wash out - it felt like it was the greasiest conditioner I have ever used even after thorough rinsing. Finally, my hair didn't feel any different than when I use my regular shampoo and conditioner. So that was three strikes, and this product is out.

Greens are good for the hair and for the body
I have noticed that a bad hair day can really put a damper on my whole day, weird but true! I remember reading a national study done on women and it pretty much said the same thing, so I make sure to avoid bad icky hair as much as possible.

As a big fan of Burt's Bees and their natural holistic approach to beauty and body care I was recommended to try this product by a friend of mine who's always absolutely gorgeous and wholesome looking without even trying too hard. Her hair was all the way down to her waist and she said this was her secret weapon. That was pretty much all it took for me to buy it and try it myself. The ingredients in this product are; Vegetable Glycerin, Olive Oil, Oat Protein, Avocado Oil, Orange Oil, Lanolin, Sweet Almond Oil, Water, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Nettle Extract, Rosemary Extract, Fragrance

I have long hair now, which I keep dying million colors of blonde because dark colors never stay on my hair and this is a blessing to combat for the long length and the split ends and dryness that always follows. I have medium and pin straight hair and this is not too heavy at all. The tube is metal, the contents are avocado scented toothpaste like and goopy but I love to massage it in my wet hair and then twist it up as I brush my teeth, shave, washy my face and do all my other shower stuff. If I have scrubs and oils and any activities that take me longer in the shower, I always make sure to use this mask so it can penetrate for the longest time possible. When I am done I simply shampoo and follow with some conditioner for 30 seconds and that's all it takes for slippery, shiny and luscious hair. This is a great product, its natural and not that expensive and it always ends up being used up more than I have left it as when I have people over.

Burt's Bees people recommend it to be used ever time when one shampoos, but even when used once a week I can tell that my hair is well nourished and happy. This is a product that I have been buying for years and I don't ever think I will stop, it's natural , wonderful and easy to find!
