| Limousin |
| Limousin is found in the centre of France, around the town of Limoges. Much of the region is at an altitude of more than 350 metres - and the landscape is typically forested hills and open moorlands. The climate is not always especially inviting - rain can be frequent, and winters are cold, so it is not yet highly placed on the tourist circuit, but the region has a great deal to offer and is perfect for those wishing to explore somewhere off the beaten track. |
