Pretty Good
Well, when it came to CDs of the Davidoff Cello Concerti, there weren't a lot of options. I chose this one because, among its brethren, it looked the most legitimate, and I imagine it probably is. Wenn-Sin Yang I had never heard of before, and I didn't have the highest of expectations. Everything's there, "technically" speaking, with good intonation and the right notes at the right times. However, I find Yang's tone very superficial, his projection okay (seems like the orchestra has to play unusually quiet), and his interpretations somewhat bland. Unfortunately, I do not know the nature of other recordings of the Davidoff Concerti, and for these particular pieces, I would recommend exploring other recordings.
