Good news, bad news, and then good new again! on this Sony product.

Good news - it arrived and was easy to get going, I found.

Bad news, it only works in the same room with the main unit. In any other room, it regularly came "unlinked" from the main unit.

Good news again! I'm finally done with Sony products. Really, I have no idea why I bother. I now own a TV with power supply issues, a receiver that is going dead, and a wireless sound system that's totally inadequate. Liberated. I'm free.

Be careful!
Just purchased and installed this system. Easy to setup. Good sound when sub unit is within 55-60 feet. Be careful though. I have a masonry house with steel window frames and they upset the performance. Also found I had to set the receiving unit higher above the floor or someone walking by will cut the receiving signal. I would buy the unit again, but don't expect performance over 60 feet unless it is a clear line of sight to the base sending unit.

Great small house system
I received this one night and had it set up within a half hour. This is a great system for a small house. I put the tuner in the kitchen with one speaker and a speaker in my office. They run separately with remote (its small, have a special spot to put it, I use a pretty juice glass). The sound quality is remarkable for the unit! In my office I have it mounted on the wall in a somewhat unreachable spot which is fine - remote turns it on and off and my IPOD is in the kitchen! My desktop is uncluttered. You have to buy the tuner and then supplement the two wireless speakers if you have more locations. The S-Air 10 is only speaker you need a S-Air 20 base station. I'm getting another one for the basement laundry room and for my second floor bedroom.

Easy for multiroom
I have two of these and they are great. The range is very good, They connect and work flawlessly anywhere in the house, as well as the back yard and front porch. Setup is simple and sounds quality is good.

SONY wireless speaker does the job
The Sony AIRSA10 allows me to have good music/radio/podcasts throughout the house--without having to run speaker wires from the basement to the loft. Overall sound quality and performance is good.

The Sony AIRSA10 is subject to interference from microwave ovens. When the microwave oven is running the sound from the wireless speaker is distorted or replaced by noise. I did not observe any other interference with home WiFi or other electronics.

The unit has a convenient clock--which unfortunately needs to be reset everytime you unplug the unit. A backup power system for the clock and other settings would get rid of a this inconvenience. Also, it would be nice if there was a battery powered version of this speaker.

All things considered, this is a good way to easily distribute music and sound around the house.
