I love this MP3!
I had this MP3 for one year before I dropped it and cracked the screen. I bought the same model again because its easy to use, looks nice, and has all the features I need. The battery life on it is very long. I just wish it was easier to find an arm-band compatible with this size MP3 player.

We have had these for about 2 yrs now and love them
How did we live without these before?

I grew up with transitor radios and we have come a long way since then.

We use ours with Rhapsody and it really is the best of both worlds. We bought silicone covers for them so less likely to slip out of our hands. I spent a lot on an Iriver before this and it really didn't work well at all. At the time that was the cheaper option to expensive alternatives. When these Fuzes came out it was hard to pass up the price. They now make smaller Sansas but I don't think my eyes would like the smaller screen on them. Everyone in our family bought one. Radio Shack had this one year warranty at the time and that is where I bought mine. Another member bought theirs at Toys R Us. So many places to find these. We have yet to replace batteries for these. I wish the ear pieces were more comfortable. There are all sorts of improvements I would like to see down the road for these but it will be hard to find anything close to this for this price.

Better than an ipod
Let me keep this simple; the price is right, it's very easy to use, I only downloaded one program and I can quickly and easily upload mp3. It's perfect in size, very slim and durable, plenty of settings you can change, plenty of storage capacity. I've had mine over a year with no battery issues, no playback issues, etc. Great investment!

Good player, maybe great, but why no USB connection!?
I haven't done much with this device except move audio files onto it and listen to them. I've also listened to radio. These features are both fine.

Really I'm just posting this review to make note of one thing: the physical connection to your PC is NOT a standard USB or USB Mini port. Instead, they have their own proprietary connection. I just cannot understand why a company would use proprietary technology in the 21st century. So when I travel, I need to take multiple chargers/connectors, just because of this MP3 player's connection. That's a shame, and really poor design. (The connection is USB to your PC, of course; just not to the device.)

I should note that I use Windows and I drag/drop files directly into directories where I want them, and I also listen to items by navigating to specific folders (as opposed to using the artist/song/album tags of the mp3 file). All of this is quite simple, with the small exception that it takes about two more clicks than it should (on the player) to navigate to the songs stored in folders. Not all players let you navigate via folders (and I have them nested three or four deep), so this is a nice feature. There's a small problem, however, that only 28-character names are allowed for folders. The reason I need folders (as opposed to artist/album) is that my collection is primarily classical, and the player doesn't have a "by composer" setting for getting to your music. The folder name limit is a problem for classical music listeners!
