Sony DVPNS 508 -ALL REGION CODEFREE MULTI SYSTEM DVD PLAYER

We bought this Sony because we have been buying DVDs which originate in the UK and if you buy on Amazon UK, the prices are a lot cheaper. In fact, when I bought this player, in conjunction with a 35 episode UK television series I was interested in, I paid less for the player plus the series from Amazon UK than I would have paid for the series alone on Amazon US! And by a substantial amount (over $100!).

This Sony has been great. Easy to set up and use, and always ready to go! No problems whatsoever.

I highly recommend it!

Just take theplayer out of the box, connect the plug in adapter to the cord, press power and put a movie in. A very nice dvd player that can play russian movies.

Great product. I've been using it for several months now to show my PAL DVD's and others. No problems and it's easy to use. It does what I want it to do.

great product. ran straight out the box. No english translation to instructions available. Even called Sony and was told there is no English instructions for this product. If Amazon.com is going to sell a product, you expect to be able to have english as the language for instructions. So, be aware of this. NO ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABLE FOR UNTI. I like to shop on Amazon.com, but this is short changing the custome. Thank you.

This Sony multi-zone DVD player is very easy to use. Besides playing DVDs bought in the US it also plays DVDs bought in Germany and my own DVD recordings from German Television; tolerates NTSC and PAL. AC range is 120-240V, no adjustment necessary. It comes with a European power plug and an adapter for US power outlets that works well and does not come lose. Manuals in Spanish and English are enclosed. And, yes, the color is silver but the front is black.

Don't let the big media companies dictate which DVDs you can't watch. Go outside your zone - be curious!
