Toshiba MET400-OR Gigabeat 4 GB Portable Media Player (Orange)

I purchased this player after alot of homework and hands on experience with several other brands. I like the windows media player on my PC alot and this player uses the windows mobile set up, so it syncs flawlessly. It also has a very appealing/classy look to it's menus/user interface.....it comes with the cool effects of windows media player which I like. The bottom line is sound though, and this player delivers a very crisp, clean, powerful sound. It is easy to use, sounds fantastic, and is fun to play around with the menus when browsing. I can't reccomend this highly enough.....the only drawback to this player is the 4gb memory. I am surprised Toshiba doesn't offer this in a bigger memory. I don't have to have my entire collection on one player so it is ultra easy to swap out music if I need to.....it still holds about 750 songs, I can deal with that.

I have purchased three of these now. They work wonderfully with what ever media player you have on your computer. Synchonizes at the very start. One I had purchased at Office Depot wouldn't come on line. The company overnighted me a new one. Unbelieveable! Great company, great product and less than those pricey models. My sons 18 & 20 love them. Plays videos and music.

I've had this MP3 player now for about 3 weeks. I am not a real technical gadget person, but my new job requires travel at least 1 week a month and I needed something to listen to during flights. I've never owned an MP3 player before and was really skeptical about purchasing one. This player was so easy to setup and download songs to that I was amazed. One of my co-workers has an iPod that holds about 10000 songs, but I'm not that into music so this Toshiba unit works perfect for me. And the sound quality with the included earbuds is top notch. I've also downloaded photos onto the player and was blown away at the excellent picture quality. Don't think I'll use the video function though, as I have no desire to watch video on such a small screen. This player is very lightweight and is exactly the size of a credit card. There is an equalizer function with seven option settings. There are different function options for video and pictures as well. My only gripe is that this player is advertised as 4GB, but mine only has 3.73GB, other than that I absolutely love this little unit :-) I highly recommend this player for anyone needing a simple unit without a lot of bells and whistles.

this is the really music player, no FM, voice recoding, or other fancy futures, but it stands out on its sound quality.

This is my first MP3 player and I love the compact size and ease of use. I would have liked a printed instruction manual rather than an electronic one but other than that I think it's great!
