SanDisk Sansa Fuze 4 GB Video MP3 Player (Pink)

The Fuse is easy to operate for my young teenage daughter and is our second for her. The first one was for Christmas last year and made it until September before its battery died apparently without warranty (purchased from BUY dot com) It was cheap enough for me not to gripe to much about that because I know she uses it a lot. For music it has been fine but she has never been able to get videos to work, like videos she saves off the internet and stuff she makes herself in mp4 format or whatever - seems that the only way to work a lot of the features is to subscribe to a pay by the month service, then download everything from them. Well she/we have a lot of CDs we sync with it that it but we are not into pay by the month services.

This is the 2nd Sansa Fuze MP3 player we have purchased. It is wonderful. Easy to use and easy to load with music. Does most everything an ipod can do for over half the cost. Also like that it is expandable with the micro SD card. The first time we purchased it was only available in black. Now they have the colors which my daughter loves. Sound quality is great. Screen is bright and easy to see and use. I do recommend that you purchase the travel charger. It is just much easier to charge the battery by plugging it into the wall instead of the computer.

I purchased the Sansa Fuze 4 gig just before my vacation to Jamaica almost two years ago. Why? My 16 gig iPod fell and broke apart; I needed something for the trip. The battery life was a HUGE factor and with almost 24 hours of playtime per charge, I decided the $100 price tag was worth it (mind you, it was two years ago). I bought it at Best Buy, and the only selection was pink. I am NOW proud of it being pink and my 8-year old son wants one over an iPod, too. This product is far more durable than my defunct iPod, lighter, better ease of all of the functions, plus it has an expandable memory slot - which the iPod did not.

Better quality, better price, better luck. Great buy!

I bought this for my daughter's 8th birthday. Was worried about use and durability. She loves it. It is easy to use and very durable. Easy to download songs. It is harder to do pictures and video. But overall it does the music which is why I bought it perfect.

I like my SanDisk Sansa Fuze. I take it on trip, to the hospital, almost everywhere I know is going to be boring. I will at least have some music to listen to. It will break the monotney of not having what I would like to listen to. If they like soft music, I can choose country or what every my choice is. In the hospital, I can listen to it and if I have a room mate...they won't be bothered by it. It is quite. I can enjoy music and my husband can't tell what I am listening to. So, that makes him happy. No noise.... I have little complaint about it. Just that I have to recharge it often. That is to be expected when you use it though. Or if it just sits there it runs down too. duh. It is less expensive than having the plan on your phone for music when you think about it and you can add to it and have all the music you want. and not pay for the data plan. lol thinking along the line of $$$$...good adivce to someone who hasn't thought of it yet. Those are my thoughts on my review.
