Apple iPod touch 32 GB (2nd Generation)

I bought two of these for our daughters for Christmas and have been very impressed with the quality of the product. If you are one who likes to keep things looking new, I would strongly suggest you also purchase one of the silicon cases and a touch screen cover to protect your investment - just getting the iTouch out of the box could permanently mar the finish on the product if you are not careful, not to mention normal use of the product. We got the Belkin case and it and proved to provide an excellent fit.

As with most highly technical products, the iTouch has it's glitches. Most of these for us have been a result of synching problems with iTunes on the PC. We've had to reset each iTouch more than one time to clear these. Once you take iTunes out of the picture, though, the iTouch has worked very well in the few weeks we've owned them. Battery life is remarkable for the size of the product when listening to music. If you are watching a full length movie, or playing games, it shortens dramatically. Fortunately you should be able to view an entire movie without having to plug in.

The wireless connectivity is great too with a nice range - over 200' for us, although it takes more battery power to use intensely. Overall a very nice device for the price.

I am 60 something and find most of the current cell phones and even the IPODs a bit difficult to use with my large and shakey fingers. But the IPOD touch is intuitive and a delight to use. Wi Fi is very fast and very convienent to do quick checks on internet. Another intuitive, easy to use and understand device from Apple. I got the 8G version, but wish now that I had gotten more memory. Be aware that if you don't turn off the device with the slider, the device will still be in wi fi mode which will drain the battery even if you shut the device off with the button.

Very cool product. It is almost too small though. I would like a little more bulk, and a lot more battery life. Active applications suck battery power in no time (less than an hour)

This product was something my son was so excited to receive. He loves it. It was very easy to navigate & figure out. Downloading on the device was easy as well. NO COMPLAINTS here!

I love my new ITouch. I bought 3 for Christmas gifts (myself included). I'm even considering buying the MobileMe. My own ITouch would not connect to the Internet reliably but the Apple Store exchanged it for me. Great customer service there!
