Samsung LN32A450 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

Purchased this TV last month after reading the positive reviews on Amazon. The first week or so everything worked great, but then major audio problems started to surface.

To put it simply, the audio on the HD channels for this unit is defective for people who plug their cable directly into the TV. If you use a box provided by a satellite or cable company, the "robot" sound appears to be nonexistent. For everybody else, the sound WILL distort every 10 minutes or so, requiring you to completely reset the TV settings. Once the TV has been reset, the sound problem goes away UNTIL the TV is disconnected from its power source. The robot sound then quickly reappears, requiring another reset. Don't fool yourself...if you plug your cable directly into your TV, this problem will happen to you.

Samsung has yet to provide an acceptable fix for this issue. This is the second Samsung TV in my household that has had severe audio issues within the past year. It goes without saying this will be my very last Samsung purchase.

Bought this TV on cyber Monday and have been pleased with the performance so far. The price is now $25 less than when I purchased it and I would expect it to continue to go lower. Since Amazon no longer does price adjustments, saavy shoppers could do better by waiting.

I was so excited to find this tv at such a great price that I along with my siblings and parents decided to purchase it for my sister and husband for Christmas. I have always been skeptical about purchasing large electronic items such as a tv online but decided to take a chance. We had our Christmas Friday afternoon and boy was she surprised when she opened it and saw that it was a 32 inch flat screen tv!! My sister has been watching a small tv in her bedroom which probably dates back when remotes first came out for tv's so I decided she needed to be spoiled a bit this Christmas. This is also in part for sacrificing their wants for the kids and getting them flat screens the past two years for Christmas. They were unable to set it up right away but did so Sunday 9/29/08 and to our surprise and disappointment the tv had sound but no picture!!!! This wasn't happening! After reading some of the reviews I see I wasn't the only one who got a lemon but this does not discourage me from purchasing Samsung tv's. Several family members have Samsung tv's including myself and have had NO problems with them! Unfortunately I will be returning this for a refund and going to Best Buy to purchase in person.

After shopping for a long time comparing price and value my choice to purchase the Samsung LN32A450 HDTV was not a disapointment. The shipment from Amazon was quick and the quality of the picture excellant.

I'm very happy with my Samsung 32 inch HDTV LCD. It was easy to set up and has a great picture. Make sure you use HDMI cables or you don't get the best picture.
