worth the money!
everything is good with this tv. the only thing i would complain is that it does not have a remote control option to change the aspect ratio/mode. I need to go through couple steps.

There might be a way that i am not aware of tooo....

overall it is worth the money.

Samsung has a great picture!
The picture is just great! This is really the reason I wanted this set. It also has really good sound also. I find myself looking around for noises that are really from the TV. Many features like "contents" are included but I don't think they will be used much.. games, pitures, songs... Many if Samsung releases web updates for it, it may be of more use. The infolink is really a nice feature, but it doesn't diplay all of your pictures or movies. You need to show only a few at a time, delete them, then show more.
The PIP is really a rip off.. It doesn't work unless you have another device with a tuner althought I still haven't got it to work yet. (I have a Digital convertor box and a VCR and it still doesn't see them a tuners) I was suprised that the tv does not get very much information as to what channel ID's are (like WGN, WTTW, ect;) or even what is on. Very few channels have this information. My old CRT TV almost always had information for every channel and for days ahead as well.

Overall, I am happy with it and love the picture quality of the digital stations, but the analog stations look worse than my old CRT TV. You can delete all the analog stations so it skips them, and goes to the digital one instead. (delete 5, and watch 5-1 instead!)

Excellent tv, great price!
I was a little nervous about purchasing such a big-ticket item online, but the price difference was overwhelming. I took the plunge, and saved nearly $700 on this tv by purchasing it from Amazon (vs. Circuit City, Best Buy, Sears, etc.). Got the 3-year extended warranty, which was also cheaper than local retailers. Delivery was excellent -- nice guy, helped me unpack the tv, put it on the table, check for any damage, get it plugged in, check to be sure it worked. It's a great tv, we love it! Amazon was definitely the smart (economic) way to go. Best of luck to retailers who can't compete.

Dramatic picture
I do not notice the touch of color in the frame of the TV, but I can see how if you have light behind your TV, the "halo" might get annoying. It seems a simple solution to move the light source to the side of, or in front of the TV so that there is no light coming from behind it. (Although, for those with living room arrangements that cause the window to be behind the TV, you may find yourself annoyed by "halo")

The sound is good but not great, I am using my stereo system speakers to output the sound from Cable/DVD in a configuration much like having a receiver (the receiver is next on the purchase list). I noticed that HDMI from either input source results in the sound output from the TV (HDMI interface) and the stereo (RCA cables) are not synced (the TV sound occurs a fraction of a second before output to RCA, resulting in an echo), so I am forced to mute the TV. This will hopefully be resolved when I switch to a reciever (but it's not a huge loss if it doesn't, again, muted TV.) This isn't the TVs fault, but the stereos fault, since the stereo does not support a digital interface (HDMI) for sound.

The picture is beautiful. It comes default with the LCD display set to full power always, but I tuned the TV and now when I'm looking at static pictures (or TIVO control panels) the TV reduces power consumption automatically. The UI is not necessarily intuitive, but I didn't have any problems with it.

Integration via Anynet+ with other Samsung products (BluRay DVD in my case) is fantastic, allowing you to use a single remote for all of your devices. I have some non-Samsung products (like Tivo and Cable TV) so I'm still forced to get a universal remote (I did, and it works great). As great as Anynet+ is, I won't be buying a Samsung receiver because I have non-Samsung products... but if I could go all Samsung, Anynet+ is very attractive (saving over $100 on a remote is probably worth the few extra dollars per product to get that kind of integration.)

Experience the 120Hz Frame Rate
The 120Hz frame rate might take a while to get used to. It makes you feel a little bit weird at first. The default setting is set to Medium for the 120 frame rate, but if you change it to Low it makes it feel a lot better.

The color is also very amazing. I played a bluray disc on it and it looks just awsome. The color is so bright that I actually feel like I am in the movie. It actually might look TOO real.

The contrast ratio was also very good. There is not that many TVs that can beat this contrast ratio with this price. It black make the color look even better.

The only one thing that I did not really like about this TV is that the surface reflects light a lot. You will be able to see yourself watching TV sometimes. But as long as the room is not too bright, there is no problem at all.
