Samsung LN46A750 46-Inch 1080p DLNA LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color

I've owned the Samsung LN46A750 for over a month now, and I'm very pleased with the purchase. Like many others, I read lots of reviews and went to several stores to look at the TV sets. Since the beginning I wanted an LCD, not a plasma, because I had read that LCDs consume less electricity and are less heavy. My first choice was a Sony, but after reading several reviews in the Amazon site and on Consumer Reports, and having compared the TVs at the local Best Buy store, I decided to buy the Samsung. This has been by far the largest purchase that I've ever made on line, so I was quite hesitant and anxious about it. Everything turned out great, though. The price at Amazon was excellent (quite a deal, in fact), and the delivery service was fine. The set arrived a couple of days before the promised date, the company called to set up a time, and two people brought the set into my house, unpacked it and set it on the cabinet. They also made sure that the TV worked by turning it on. I have no complains at all, they were courteous and I got what I expected. I connected all the different cables and devices myself, it was easy and straightforward. I have HDTV service from Dish, and it's wonderful. The picture quality is excellent and the controls are easy to maneuver. I've been fiddling with color, contrast, brightness, etc. to get the picture that I like, and it hasn't been difficult. The sound quality is fine by me. There are several preset choices that would satisfy most people. The red edge around the screen doesn't bother me at all; on the contrary, I think it gives the TV a high-end finish and the result is quite beautiful. I recommend this TV without any qualms.

This picture has to be seen to be believed. It was delivered on time and in great condition. The white glove service was very helpful. thumbs up

The good: Picture is amazing, sound is terrific, set-up a snap, white glove delivery from Amazon went very well. The small wheel on the remote is a bit cumberson, but not bad.
The bad: Glare is a problem. Also, you will get some glow around the frame edge of the set. May be a problem for some.

Overall: I purchased the 750 over the 650 because of the ability to interact with the PC. I haven't been able to get it to work. And from what I can tell in the manual, it doesn't seem to offer a whole lot. Happy with the purchase, but if I were to do it again, I would have saved myself the extra money and went with the 650.

The Samsung LN46A750 is an astounding television - worth every penny. However the delivery mechanism set up by Amazon was absolutely horrendous. I ordered it on November 20 and received it on December 4 - after it had sat in a location 8 miles from my house - then was shipped to a city 75 miles away to sit in a warehouse. (Pilot had handed it off to another trucking company). When it was finally delivered there was no "white Glove" service and, as I said it was two weeks after the order was placed. Absolutely dreadful delivery service...but a great TV at a good price. I guess you can't have everything. Shame on you Amazon!!

This TV has a very good and clear picture, we would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a LCD, we have done a lot of research on LCD's and this by far had the clearest and best picture for the money. We also like the looks of the red it is a beautiful touch! When they delivered it to my home; they were right on time and very nice. All together we have had a GREAT experience with Amazon.
