Touch of red is not at all distraction, infact adds to the looks.

Behaves and displays as mentioned in CNET review as well as Home Theatre mag review. I am very happy with the TV.

Need one more TV for basement and replace my old home theatre. Looking for 7.1 channel ones.

I did a lot of research on which HDTV is the best value for the money. This specific set was ranked very high --- and coupled with Amazon.com's great price and service --- we are very happy with it. I was a little concerned about the Touch of Color feature but it is quite subtle and does lend a bit of class (is that possible with a TV?) to the set.
The picture is extremely good and it is easy to set up and use. I highly recommend it.

The TV is excellent, the picture quality is wonderful.
I want to comment on the delivery and set up. Some reviewers were very disappointed, but I definitely had the "white glove" treatment.
My TV was brought all the way through my house, set up where I wanted it and they even hooked up the cable and other accessories. It was so nice not to have to deal with all of the packaging which they removed.
I highly recommend purchasing from Amazon.com.

I read the reviews of this television and saw the recommendations of Consumers Report and decided this is what we wanted for our 50th wedding anniversary. The price was great. Circuit City had the same television advertising $500 off and it was still more expensive than what we paid plus free shipping. We ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived on Thursday. The shipping company called on Wednesday and told it would arrive the next day. The only suggestion I would have is to have two men deliver the television. Our delivery man was 65 years old and had to have help in getting it up the front steps. My husband is elderly and has a herniated disk but the two of them managed to get it into the house.

My husband hooked it up and we couldn't be happier with the television. The color is beautiful and we would recommend this to anyone.

It has been over a week since we received our Samsung. The only thing I can say is. Bravo Samsung and Amazon. Bravo to Samsung for an absolutely amazing TV. Bravo to Amazon for CEVA Shipping. They did everything the Amazon White Glove Service promises. The delivery men (2) were cordial, efficient, very careful handling the set and unpacked and set the unit in place quickly. They then collected the box after asking if we wanted it and were on their way. We couldn't be happier. The TV itself has an amazing picture, and the TOC everyone seems to have an issue with is non existent with me. You don't even notice it if the TV is positioned in the right place. My family room where the tv is ensconced has red in it so either way we were good to go! We will wait to see if the good experience still exists after a more lengthy time in use. However, right now I'd buy Samsung again through Amazon without reservation
