Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

I haven't purchased this item yet Samsung(LN52A650, LN52A750, LN52A850, LN52A860 or LN55A950), because every time I look at the pricing it changes on Amazon. I noticed that the price went down several times each day as the "White Glove Delivery" was not available after Christmas and shortly before New Years. Now Amazon is offering the "White Glove Delivery" again after New Years and the price keeps going up every day. What's up with the pricing increase and decrease. Do you think you are going to sell more TV's this way?
I as I see it, the product looks great, the reviews are great but one thing that I don't understand is why the manufacture doesn't offer a longer warrenty. 1 year is not long, especially when you are spending $1,500 or more for a TV. Who wants the power supply go out or some other problem go wrong with the TV after 1 year? Then you have to make arrangements with a TV repair shop to come out to the house or take your TV into the shop, pay a minimum of $200 or more to get it fixed and only have a 3 month warrenty. I just don't understand.
I have an old 27" Sony TV that still works and it's over 20 years old. Is it because most of the TV's are made in China? Can someone speak to this? I don't want to through good money after bad merchandise....

I bought this TV after reading the reviews and testing out the TV at Sears.
This was an awesome step up from my old 27" tube. It was dazzling! I received the latest firmwire pre-installed. Pilot shipping did a great job unpacking and setting up the TV. Even standard quality (Cable) channels look incredible.

A consumer reports top pic. A fantastic TV. Light. Large. Fantastic Picture. Amazon shipper CEVA does a great job of delivering undamaged.

Only issue is with the Anynet feature for the remote. The remote with this TV will not operate a Direct TV Sat box. Get ready for multiple remotes.

As has already been said of this set, I now look at the back of the set, and even the case design on the back is a classy look.

I studied these sets for more than 2 years, and finally emptied my account on them.

I just opened the box last week, and still need to hook up the Yamaha theater to it yet.
At the same time, I picked up a 37" for out in the shop hanging up over the shop door on it's Omni Mount and the 52" is in the office.

Granted general basic cable isn't very impressive, but when you save to favorites the Digital feeds, then Oh Yea.

* Here's a tip about the Omni Mount hanging a 37" not shown in any documents.

Make darn sure you have a good 3" above screen to ceiling
or you will not get Tv to access the mount hub.
I centered mount on the wall above door according to instructions, and
struggled with the 37" on a ladder wondering what the hxxx is going on.

It is a great mount allowing the 37" to be viewed in any direction and still plenty of clearance above the door.

The true Monster Garage is taking shape.
I'll update as it progresses.
Talk about killer costs with 35 foot HDMi cables.
Must learn how to make them myself in the future.

I did a lot of research and relied heavily on reviews to make this purchase, so I feel it necessary to leave my own. I LOVE this tv!! I bought it specifically to watch football games, and it's great! Amazon had a great price, so I bought it and am absolutely in love! Finally got an HD cable box from my cable company, connected it via HDMI cable to the tv, and I've never seen such a clear picture! The sound quality is great as well. I highly highly recommend this tv.
