Sony Walkman Digital Tuning Weather FM/AM Stereo Cassette Player (Silver)

I wanted this mainly for listening to book tapes and/or radio when I'm outside. The price was reasonable and it arrived in a timely manner. My only disappointment would be in the radio reception. But since I live in the country I wasn't expecting much.

The tape works great and I enjoy buying from Amazon.

This is the second Sony Cassette player I've ordered. I love it. It only uses one AAA battery; and it has a long life. Also, the sound is great. I'm ordering this one as a backup.

I have had horrible experiences with numerous SONY products,throughout the years, including Beta VCR's, Walkmans, CD/cassette players,VHS tapes, TV's.....etc. Self destruction fits. There will never be another SONY product through my doors forever. This unit, however, was purchased for an emergency and so far, seems to work.

This is my 2nd Sony Walkman. I use the Walkman to listen to books on tape when I walk the dog or exercise at the gym. I prefer tapes to CDs because I can stop, then begin again exactly where I stopped with the push of a button. The Walkman performs very well. The only thing I don't care for is the headset. Airbuds work better for me.

It arrived sooner than promised and it is what I thought I was getting so I am quite happy with it.
