every thing is good except few things on the battery life ,

1)we get only 4.5 - 5.5 but not as mentioned 6
2) battery charge drains little faster when the player is idle and unused
3) no extra battery available in market if you need more life

Excellent player, picture quality is outstanding,& the product is well worth the expense. A definite plus on a long plane flight.

Great DVD player swivel and flip screen is great you can turn it into a tablet video player cuts down even more on bulk. Great picture Higher Resolution than most comparably priced players(800 x 480 resolution) 25 to thirty dollars less than other stores. Would have been five stars if it came with at least one pair of headphones and or a little better quality built in speakers.

I like this unit, nice sharp screen resolution as many have pointed out, decent sound although a bit tinny, lacking bass. Overall solid feel. My only problem is that when set to the default 16:9 widescreen, and strictly playing widescreen DVD's, some display properly (utilizing the full horizontal width) and some don't (displaying fat black bands at the left/right sides).

For instance, the screen is 800x480 (a 1.66 ratio). When I play some widescreen DVD's with a 1.66 ratio they properly utilize the entire screen. And yet other widescreen DVD's with the same 1.66 ratio don't. Instead they play in a rectangle within the screen surrounded by thick black bands at top/bottom and left/right. Makes no sense.

Pricey, but solid item. Had 2 off brands-both 86'd. Bought for wife-but used on a job on the Mexican border--dusty,cold,hot and bounced around alot--still ticking-tho red finish some worse for abuse. Would buy again!
