Great Product - Terrible Customer Service
I bought this as a gift for my wife, and it is very easy to use, set up playlists, download songs, remove songs, etc.... Great product at a great price.

We have had two of these fail now, and they will not replace it under the warranty now. I would change my five star rating to 1, but they will not allow me to change that for some reason.

Cute little thing, works well
I am pleased with the quality of the sans disk. It plays well, holds battery well, and its nice and small(doesnt get in the way of a workout). The price is a good price for the item. I am more displeased with Rhapsody, which is why I purchased this in the first place. Napster is much better...I am not sure if the Sansa works with Napster though.

great lil mp3 player
this little mp3 player has been perfect for my commute on the train. the display is bright and it can be turned off after a few seconds. ive used it quite a bit and am only halfway thru the battery which is pretty nice. i have no complaints :)

Perfect!
This is the second MP3 player I own and I love it. My first one was and still is a Creative Zen Vision:M, and while I think highly of it, it isn't all that suitable for travel due to its larger size and heavier weight.

The Sansa Clip 2 GB fits my requirements to the T: It is small, light-weight and offers a lot of features for its small size: It has great battery life, a useful, very readable and extremely contrast-rich display, radio capability with presets and the ability to record radio and/or voice memos. Since I bought this for travel purposes, I didn't need advanced features such as video or picture viewing (offered by the Zen).

One of my main problems with the Zen Vision:M is that I strongly dislike the touch-sensitive navigation panel. I cannot count the times that I overshot a function, or didn't initialize it at all... So it was very important to me to get a player that let me press actual buttons vs. just moving my finger across a panel. The Sansa offers exactly that and its menu is so intuitive that I had no problems whatsoever to operate it right out of the box without having to read up on functions.

The sound with the included earphones is suprisingly rich, no complaints. Although I do have better earphones, I wouldn't mind using these long-term.

This player is a winner and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a feature-packed, travel-ready device. By the way, the red color is actually MUCH nicer than depicted, darker and richer. :-)

Trouble not worth the savings
I bought this mp3 on the recommendation of a store clerk who assured me it would be compatible with mac despite what the system requirements say... it is not. Okay, so I am using my old pc for it since it meets all requirements. Sansa tries as hard as they can to make you install rhapsody whether you want it or not. 2gb does not hold 500 songs actually right under half that. Their tech support is a joke, you are put in contact in people who do not speak english and some seem to have not even used a computer before, then after a few they basically will say they can't help if it is not one of their most common problems they are trained to handle. My biggest problem is... you cannot change song names and if you do the clip will change them back. In about a month and trying around ten different methods I have yet to create a library or playlist that upon loading to the player has not been altered in some way. The most common problems are changing name back to original download names, adding either numbers or dashes or periods before song names screwing up the alphabitizing, changing album or artist names to unknown, and many times once changing the names to unknown, those songs will not play more than one second but still take up full amount of space as if the song was correctly there.
Okay now pros... looks cool, very light weight (less than an ounce), price is just slightly lower then other players but not as cheap as many reviews i've read claim ($35 - 50) actually $45 - 60.
