SIRIUS Sportster 5 Satellite Radio Receiver with Vehicle Kit

I got this a few days ago and so far I love it. You can customize your settings pretty easily and the screen display is really nice. The only complaint I have is that when I turn it on it takes about 2 minutes for "Sirius Updates". It didn't do that the first day I had it but has been doing it since then, so hopefully it won't be forever. I have the car dock and home dock, and so for home I just got some computer speakers to plug into it and it works great.

I like the SP5, and I like SIrius over XM. However when I had XM the unit was factory installed (lease ended so I went and got SIrius).

I Bought the SP5 and Paid 90$ for installation. It works fine, however I would not say the sound quality is the same as the factory model in my other car, and it certainly cannot go very high.

That for me is a big negative. All else is quite nice with the unit

The radio looks very nice & streamlined since the last model. I'm getting a lot of static no matter where I position the antenna and no matter what channel i broadcast through. I get noise when the wipers are running.
Looks great though.

I own an exercise studio and it was embarrassing when a commercial would come on the radio for, "increased male performance" or another exercise studio offering promises and special discounts for their gym. I love the "look" of this particular satellite system. And Amazon had it for the lowest price compared to anywhere else I looked!
The only thing is making sure the antenna is facing in the right direction.

I am super happy with my purchase of the Sirius Sportster 5. Installation was a little tricky, though once it was installed it was well worth it. Love love love this product!
