It works fine
The radio was a big hit much easier to control than the previous version and it lets you personalize some ticker type information (stocks, sports scores) so you're always updated.

This is XM Radio's bait!
This is the unit that got me to consider XM Radio. It's great. Comes with EVERYTHING you need to get going.

If you are considering XM Radio do not hesitate on this XpressRC. Until something better comes out don't settle for less, get the most out of your XM Radio experience.

The only gripe I have with it is that it erases the playback history. It saves the 10 songs but it resets the 60 minute recording every time the unit is shut off. Each song save is limited to 15 minutes max so if you are listening to a live DJ set that is a remix of a lot of songs it will only record 15 minutes of it.

Other than that, the screen is beautiful and easily read in a car even under direct sunlight.

Better than expected
After carefully studying the different models available, I reluctantly decided to pay the extra money for the color display. So far, I am very impressed with this product, especially the color display and the different display options it offers. I definitely recommend this radio.

Great upgrade from pervious model
This just makes it easier and more attractive to use my XM radio.. now I can see 4 channels at once (the one I am on and three others). I have even used the rewind and pause features to answer the phone. I really like this and I would recommend it to everyone.

The best satellite radio you can get!
I purchased this about a week ago and it was my first satellite radio.
I am very impressed, the screen is extremely sharp and easy to read. The controls are intuitive, including last channel recall, favorite lists, direct channel entry, junping between station types, etc. It also has a 60 minute buffer so you can rewind stuff you already heard (in case you want to "hear that song again") However, the best feature is the split screen, 1/2 shows the channel, artist, and song your listening too, the other shows other channel with artist and song name. You can sort that by all channels, channel types, favorites, etc.

Compared to the normal ExpressR (black & white) it is very nearly the same. Except the screen is obviously color, much nicer to look at, and much higher resolution. It will also show channel name, artist, and song at the same time on the split screen while the ExpressR will only show one and you need to cycle through with display button.

Compared to the Sirius Sportser 5 (also a new color LCD): I looked at them both closely and this ExpressRC's screen is far superior in brightness and clarity IMO.

I use the SureConnect to listen (the clamp on the antennea then listen through FM radio) and it comes in clear with no static, even in NYC. Also, if you use this method, check to see if your antennea has a black coating like mine did. I used a razor to scrape it off where the clamp goes to make a nice metal on metal connection, the difference was night and day.

I really can't find too much bad to say... I wish it included a suction cup mount instead of a sticky mount. I also wish you didnt have to buy the sureconnect seperatley, the radio comes with a cassete adaptor, thats so 80s! The font on the split screen is also real small, just big enough to read.
