Creative Zen 4 GB Portable Media Player (Black)

I bought this product as a gift for my cousin in India from Amazon on Apr 25, 08 and it stopped working in a little over 7 months. The screen stays black even when the device is powered on. Now creative tech support says we need to ship the product to Singapore at our own cost for their service center to take a look at it.
The only reason I'm not giving it a single star is it worked well for these seven months (my cousin was happy with it's performance) and it's possible I might have just been unlucky.

I could not believe the way this product was packaged or the condition of the zen was not at all what I was expecting.I will not buy anything from them again...

I bought this to easily listen to the songs i like. Great performance, compatible with Rhapsody so i can quickly upload music. And i hold all my pictures on it. The sd slot quickly reads the card and transfers all photos to the memory. I love it.

This product was on my grandson's wish list for his birthday. He was pleased and in fact after charging it up he sent me a thank you email the next day in addition to thanking me when he opened his present. I love those wish lists.

It's better than the i-pod because it's only a fraction of the price, the screen is wide screen, comes with perfect ear buds and it has an FM radio. The picture is really good, not amazing, but good and worth the price. It plays so many video file types and holds so many photo file types. The radio connection is way better than most mp3 players. The microphone as always isn't that good but it's better than most and it's very useful.

Most definitely I would rocomend it.
