I hunt, we explore, and just while the kids are outside playing in the neighborhood the 4 radios I purchased help us to remain in contact. The range seems adequate in our neighborhood for the kids to go play and stay in communication and in the woods these radios really show their stuff.

I highly recomend these radios to anyone with similar needs.

It's Christmas season and I placed this order online four days ago only to get an e-mail today saying the order has been canceled. Amazon and its suppliers should not be saying "in stock" on items that apparently will not ship.

but there was no privcy channels

I order this item all the way from south america and was so pleased with its performance. Its affordable and does the job it has to do. Its a must have. No complain, i'm even thinking of ording a pair of backup handset just to have in case of damage or lost.

I bought these for a cruise in November so I will update my review after the cruise. They work great around the neighborhood.
