Mp3 player
I am really happy with this Mp3 player. I bought this for my son's first one and he loves it. It arrived quickly and was in great condition.

looks great, but didn't work with my computer
I really liked the idea of this item; as small as a flash drive, big enough capacity for working out or the commute, but when it came time to getting it to work with the new iTunes, no luck. The product *thinks* it works with iTunes but if the computer won't support the product, there's not much you can do about that! Had to send it back.... but I still LIKE the idea. If you're on PC I'm sure it's fabulous.

Worked great.. for a while.
Bought one of these for my 14 year old son, who used it almost constantly. Thought it was so cute I bought one for myself as well. After about 2 weeks he complained that the play/pause button (also the on/off button) was difficult to push. A few days later he couldn't get it to work at all. Given that I paid almost nothing for it, I wasn't about to mess with sending it to Coby, so I opened it up to see what was going on. Problem was basically a poor design. The little push buttons stand up at right angles to the PC board inside, and when you press on them it strains the tiny little solder joints that hold them down, eventually breaking them. The play/pause button is especially weak since it's on the end. I swapped units with him and told him to be real careful with the buttons. He was, and was able to get another 6 months out of the thing before the second one died the same way. I guess there's a good reason that Coby's products are "budget priced"..

Second Time Was a Charm
The unit that I have now is a replacement from a previous one that turned out to be an older model. It worked very well as advertised.

Absolutely worth the money
I needed, really, a digital voice recorder for interviews that would sync with my Apple. At the Apple store, a fancy Ipod was their solution - about $250, as I remember. I searched on Amazon for anything that would work with my MacBook without a hitch. This Coby works! I'm sure there were other, cooler ways to do this, but this works for $25. And the music sounds great, and the radio works, and I can carry a AAA battery for an extra. Behold! I feel technologically ... well, not competent, but at least less maladroit. David Block
