Logitech has abandoned support for the Wireless DJ - Buyers beware!
I have owned this system plus an extra receiver for a few years, and I paid top dollar for it at the time. At first I thought it was the holy grail as I was wanting to stream Internet radio to other rooms in my house. For this it works OK using the "stream all sounds" setting. All along the Streampoint software has been very buggy with frequent crashes and losing connection with the room receivers. To fix it I have to unplug and replug the USB transmitter or reboot the computer. I thought that when I moved to a new computer perhaps it would get better but that was not the case. I also thought when they released the one and only update of Streampoint to version 1.5, that it would make a difference, but it actually may have been better before the update as now I cannot get it to update the music library without seriously crashing. I recently decided to actually use the remote to play music from my computer (not Internet Radio), but it is useless since I can't update my library which was moved to another drive.
I have contacted Logitech numerous times and they just send me useless canned information or ignore me completely. I will never buy ANY Logitech devices again because of this.
People should also know that this will not work with Vista or Win7 and obviously there will be no more updates to the buggy Streampoint software.
