Delphi XM Signal Repeater

I recently upgraded my home theater to include a portable XM Radio with docking station. I am addicted to XM in the car, and was psyched to have access to the programming at home as well. When I set up the tuner, I quickly realized that I needed the antenna to be at the other side of my house or it would not work. Faced with the daunting task of running a cable through my house, I was ready to give up!

Then I found this product! The repeater works just like a wireless home computer network. I set it up in the room where the antenna faces the southern sky and connected the repeater antenna to my receiver and I now had XM working on my Home Theater on the other side of the house.

If you have issues with reception, this product should fix it. Just set it up where the antenna gets a signal, and wirelessly send the signal to any room in your house.

I was also concerned that this product would not work with XM, as it only mentions Sirius in the summary, but it works fine with my XM antenna.

I listen to XM in car and all over house with home kit. This device is excellent at transferring the signal through walls and to different levels (3) of my house. With the XM radio's internal FM transmitter you can use any radio to pick up signal. Easy to setup (Plug and Play) Saves me time having to move main antenna and then constantly adjusting it to get it facing south and picking up signal from satellite. If you like XM and want an easy way to relay the signal buy this product.

We signed onto XM recently because the receiver was loaded in a new car---classical FM in our area is mostly pop-schlock and the XM classical channels are very good. So then we bought a small XM receiver for home, where it was to be used mostly in a north-facing basement room. Reception failed. This device saved the day. Put it upstairs in a south-facing room, and it transmits flawlessly all over the house. Highly reoommended.

The product works great. Unfortunately, I was wanting a repeater that would allow me to use my XM Inno. The Inno has to be in the cradle and then the repeater antennae is attached accordingly. The mobility that I wanted (to just walk around my home with my Inno and get a great signal) is not possible with this device. It is unfortunate that the promotional information from Delphi did not tell me that this was going to be the case.

My company decided to block streaming audio into our network, so I was no longer able to listen to XM Radio over the internet. However, I have a MyFi XM Radio...so I can use it wherever I want...as long as I have reception. Since my cube is in the middle of the building I couldn't get reception. I purchased this signal repeater/receiver and placed the repeater in a conference room (with windows) and put the receiver on top of one of my cube walls and it works great! I finally have my XM back!
