Nice Amp
I've had this amp running now for about 3 weeks. Very clean sound. I'm using it to drive old Bose 901's through the Bose equalizer from a Harmon-Kardon preamp out. Nice complement to the system. Just what I wanted at a great price also.

Does what it says on the box
Bought it to power some outdoor speakers, instead of fiddling around with B output on existing receiver. It's nice and simple, no myriad of buttons - an on/off switch, balance, and volume - quite refreshing. The only thing I'd improve is that the speaker outputs are a little fiddly, but other than that, pleased with purchase.

Great Amp
I am very happy with my purchase. This amp is perfect for powering my rebuilt Epicure 10's from the 70's. It replaced an old Pioneer 35 watt receiver that was getting long in the tooth. Music from my Logitech SqueezeBox Receiver Squeezebox Receiver sounds fantastic.

Beware of static electricity!
OK, this amp does what is says it will do. I use it to drive some speakers from my flat screen TV audio output. Some people are confused how this amp operates but the manual can be downloaded before you buy it so read it before you buy.

Now, for some interesting information. There is no external ground on this amp so there is no ground on the electrical plug. I walked across the carpet, touched the amp, static electricity hit the the outside case, and smoked rolled out of the case. It fried the circuit board. Luckily it was still under warranty.

Avoid this Amp!!!
This amp is absolute junk. I am the Technology Coordinator for a small mid western school district. We bought this amp (actually, we bought 9 of them) from our local AV supplier for use in the classroom. They are hooked to a DVD/VCR player and a pair of small Dual brand speakers. Nothing fancy.
After less than a year of use I now have three of them that don't work properly. Two of them have the sound cut out intermittently and one has a loud hum through the speakers whenever the unit is turned on. I was told by the AV supplier to make sure nothing was sitting on top of them because the weight would cause them to short out. For the record, nothing has sat on top of any of these amps since we got them, but I don't think that says too much for the robustness of this product when you can't set anything on top of it. Have you ever seen a stereo cabinet where components weren't stacked?
Bottom line: This is "Made in China" junk and should be avoided.

PS: So far I have sent one of these back to the company for repair under warranty. They said it would take 3 to 6 weeks to get it back. This is the year 2008. What takes 6 weeks to repair?
