Audio-Technica AT-PL120 Professional Direct-Drive Turntable

These things are solid well built and can perform with the best tables on the market. They are well worth the price and from a DJ perspective meet all of the demands a DJ places on his equipment.

I have owned them for almost a year and a half and they still operate like brand new.

The only thing that might turn some people off is the pitch control. The slider is really solid but sometimes tweaking speed just right can be tricky. However thats not the table's fault as much as the need to practice. While other tables are superior in this feature I have noticed they vibrate more than the Audio Technica. Because these don't vibrate even with the speakers right next to them you can set your needles pretty light.

Have had this turntable for about three weeks. I must say, I am very happy with it. It is very solidly constructed and the sound quality is very good.

Item recieved in new condition, packaged well and exactly what we needed for recording vinyl onto the computer.

this is an excellent turntable, very well built, no flimsy plastic. easy to assemble and setup And it plays 78's. I hooked it straight to my computer (Cable is not included Just the rca cables and power cord) The only disadvantage to this turntable is, it has no automatic start or Stop The start is ok you put the arm over and set it down, but the stop. You walk away and next thing you know the stylus is bouncing over the label of the record.

If you are planning to convert your records to digital format on your computer, this switchable pre-amped turntable will do the trick. Don't get fooled into some of the cheap combo recording packages as your frustration with a cheap, barely adjustible turntable that will not properly track a record will not yield decent results and will cause you hours of editing.

I've converted over 400 lps with this turntable into my Sony HD CD writer and have been more than pleased. Happy recording.
