Audio Technica AT-PL50 Belt Drive Turntable

This is a great Buy for the money. Works great and easy to install. This Turntable has a booster/ Amplifer build in so you can listen to your albums with a set of head phones if you don't have a sound system to connect to. There is a swith on the unit under the turntable deck that will allow it utilize the amplifer/ or not.

I have to retrieve materials for my job as a church music director. Sometimes I'm looking at stuff that's 20 nyears old. Often that means the only format available to me is vinyl. This turntable really takes care of the problem. I can plug it into the aux input on any amp, and I can also connect it to my sound card. Using Cakewalk Pyro I can dub into the digital realm with ease. And the price was great.

I bought this turntable for my husband as a christmas gift. Our LP's are over 30 years old we had not listened to them since the 70's. This turntable is simple it delievers crisp clear sounds (we were surprised at the quality of sound)especially on one of Stevie Wonders first albums. All I can say is WOW !! We are having fun with it so far. It does the job for us, we like to keep it simple. At this prize who can complain?

I was initially very satisfied with the product. However, after using it to record 4 albums to my computer, it started giving feedback through the inline feed. Now, it is probably worthless.
