Very pleased. I bought this turntable to connect to my PC so I can convert my vinyl to digital. The built in preamp is an added bonus. 2007-06-24

If you're an audiophile, there's no way you're thinking about buying this record player. If you're an average music enthusiast with some records that need playin', this baby is just what you're looking for.
I hooked it up to my computer and recorded my Bikini Kill records using audacity, boosted the volume a bit, and they sound great on my mp3 player. You have to make sure your speakers are not on the same shelf, the vibrations are picked up by the record player. As someone who loves music and is on a tight budget, I love it. 2007-06-20

This record player looks and runs good except for one flaw. The needle head doesn't have enough weight to it so some of my records makes the needle bounce uncontrollably. I had to tape a nickel to it. I would suggest a turntable with a little better quality if you plan on playing records regularly. Otherwise a good bang for the buck. 2007-06-18

Got the turn table in yesterday and hooked it up to make a trip back down memory lane. Went back 40+ years and revived some old platters 33's and 45's. Played excellent would highly recommend for anyone just wanting to listen to the oldies. I am sure there are more expensive record players out there but this one does exactly what I was looking for. 2007-05-30

For the price, it is a good turntable. But, the connections to the amplifier are permanently connected to the turntable end, and as such are not replaceable. There is no speed adjustment, although I knew this in advance. The needle sets down on opening grooves on albums, regularly, but rarely on 45s. Because the "handle" on the tone arm is so small, it is difficult to life the tone arm and reset it before the music starts. A penny or two spent by Audio Technica could have solved this not-so-minor problem. Amazon's price did save me $30 over in-store price. 2007-05-18
