Sangean DT-210V AM/FM/TV Pocket-Size Digital Radio

after reading the other reviews i decided to purchase the sangean radio and i am glad i did. it was just what i was looking for. compared to the radio i had been using i went from listening to three possible stations to over eight.the radio is small, convenient and powerful. a good buy.

I purchased my third Sangean radio model DT-210 recently.
These radios have great FM reception. My FM sports show is a fairly weak dignal with old Sony and it is much improved with the Sangean, but the MAIN reason for this review is to compliment Sangean on their excellent customer service. I lost the swivel clip at my gym last week. I checked lost and found several days and called Sangean. They asked no questions, took my name and address and within 3 days I had a new clip. I am so impressed with this as well as their excellent product.

I bought the radio to us when I ride. It works fine, The lock is a great idea.

This is a great radio. I use this radio all day long listening to the FM stations in the 88.whatever to the low 90(s) (smaller power, non-ClearChannel noise:) I occasionally tune into some AM stations, but not much. I work in Carmel Valley and p/u the power house KGO am station out of San Francisco quite well to crystal clear. I use only headphones. As an electrician, I place the radio in my tool bags, throw the little lock switch (keeps the settings locked - volume still free) and listen all day long. I don't use the stock headphones - not sure how they're supposed to work. The sound quality is good for a little (2)AAA radio - does not sound like mice, sounds better than ipod. You would think that large companies wouldn't give a damn about little am/fm radios anymore - not the case. This is a well thought out little unit. I am a horse trainer. I listen to talk radio all day while I ride, and I go through a few radios every year. The clips break..the reception is bad, they fall apart etc.
I invested in this Sangean, and it's perfect! I carry it in a cell phone holder to protect it. The settings lock, which is good because riding horses tend to knock the radio around. I also love the speaker. Remember the OLD DAYS when you could actually have a small radio playing, sitting near by while you did something else? Well, here it is.
I have zero complaints, and I am HARD on radios. I wear one for at least 6 hours a day, most of that time is riding horses. I highly recommend this radio.
