JVC XL-FZ258BK 5-CD Changer

I should have read these negative reviews. Mine just arrived. The tray opened and then it ceased to function like so many here. I was about to order a replacement and then I read these reviews so it is a refund for me, this unit is a loser.

After having read all the glowing reviews I purchased this item and was not disappointed. This is a very nice full quality function CD player. I have been very pleased with this item and its performance.

This item is the best I've owned so far. It has a very easy to use remote, so simple a child could operate it. The sound quality is very good, and the price is reasonable considering all the features it has. I use it daily.

CD Changers are getting very hard to find at a good price. I really like this JVC changer. It replaces a three or four year old fairly high end Sony changer that started skipping the first 10 seconds of every disc. The changer is connected to a Yamaha RXV-2600 receiver via a fiber optic connector (the same path as the Sony changer). I was very surprised at how much better CD's sound on this player. I'm totaly sold. My guess, you can spend a lot more money, and not be any happier.

One downside to this changer, it is tall. But I'll take tall with good sounding solid mechanicals to short and cheap sounding.

I noted in one review that the tray came out when turn on,this also happened to me then it began to skip. When I pressed the open button nothing happened although it showed up on the led then I tried to shut it off and I had to press the button three times. it has been out for repair twice I now have the same problems. When I called customer service I felt that they gave me the run around. In all as I said never again will I buy a jvc product.
