Portable CB Radio
This CB radio was purchased for the express purpose of a communications device to be used exclusively on a motorcycle for bike to bike communications and weather info. It is very small and works perfectly. I had to make a holder with bracket, but that only took about 20 minutes. I purchased a separate headset kit to fit the helmet, but after all that, I still only had a total of $165. in all for my complete setup. My other biker friends spent up to as much as $800. This little gem does everything theirs do and more.

Awesome hand held
This is an awesome cb hand held radio.....the adapter for the car is a big plus too. I recommend this radio for anyone traveling. This radio talks.

Midland 75-882
The item was delivered right on time and works great. Excellent small size! Reception is marginal with the flexi antenna, but much better with the SUV-mounted whip. I love the mobility and power flexibility; batteries, car charger, rechargables. A very versatile unit at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong with this unit; it goes everywhere.

Good performer, but akward buttons
I bought this unit to use in an antique car because didn't want to drill holes to mount a traditional CB. The car is 6 volt, so rather than use a voltage convertor, I bought a 12 volt compact rechargable battery pack and an exterior antenna, and together they work great. This unit is handy and performs it's function well, but the mic key is small and the channel up/down keys are directly above the mic key. Consequently, I frequently hit the channel key when trying to hold down the mic. Also inconvenient is the belt hanger - not the regular circular knob for a standard hanger that you find on a standard CB mic, which necessitated a homemade hanger! I got too frustrated with they key issue and broke down and bought a regular compact Midland instead.

Great Little Unit
This is a great little CB radio. It's ability to be used in the car/truck with an external antenna, easily hooked up and moved from car to car. OR it can be used as a portable hand held unit. Which is nice if you're a truck driver, backing up and someone is guiding you in the dock, you can hear them over your main CB in the cab.

A lot of thought went into this unit. The weather channels, the seperate battery packs. One for rechargeables, and another for regular batteries.
Just plug it in to recharge.

The quality makes this a solid little unit.
