The picture quality is very good when you are right in front of the screen but the color starts to get washed out when your head moves past the edge of the screen. This was annoying enough that I returned the set. The design of the remote control was good but it lacked the ability to save favorite channels which is a big convenience when finding the high definition version of the channels that may otherwise require entering 5 characters. There are so few sets of this size that include a DVD player that I was sorry to return it.

Great TV
I love love love the tv! I bought it for our spare bedroom to watch movies. The sound is Okay but you do have to turn it up more than most tv's but overall I am well pleased with this purchase. Love the dvd player built in..no extra boxes sitting around!

Fits well in home entertainment center. Excellent sound (complemented by Polk home theater speakers). Visible from kitchen on opposite side of great room. Also, visible from chairs and sofa on either side of TV. Connection to Comcast via HDMI cable provides superlative video. Easy to toggle to DVD player.

My Toshiba Tv arrived in time for Christmas.
I was able to hook up and operate immediately, and it works like a charm.
Amazon ordering was easy. I looked at lots of other Tv's this one is perfect
