RCA ANT1650 Flat Digital Amplified Indoor TV Antenna

after scanned for the broadcast signals/channels, pictures were frozen at times or sometimes no signal was detected. antenna seems not scanned 360degree as claimed, however antenna would be good if you didnt use your remote control much *hahaha* like stayin on ONLY ONE channel, then quality of the signal is perfect, so why spent so much money on this expensive antenna if u only used one channel, most cheaper antennas outthere would do just so.

Somewhere in the product description it should say what the typical range of this antenna is. I was unable to get reception from any TV in my house. I'm 38 miles from a TV tower and that is apparently way too far for this antenna.

There are a lot of variables with a product like this. I bought it to help receive HD broadcast channels since my TV couldn't pick up any on its own. I live in South Florida and am within broadcast range for all major networks so I thought I could get all broadcast stations. I do however live in a cinder block house which may effect reception. Anyway I plugged this in expecting to receive all channels in their crisp clear HD greatness but could only pick up The CW, Fox, The Religious network, and the Spanish station. Which leaves me without many of the major network broadcasts regardless of where I place the antenna. Needless to say I was disappointed that this product didn't exactly serve my needs. It is low profile and easy to hook up however. I guess I'm gonna have to spring for the HI def package from my cable provider.

My fear was that there would be too much interference by the location of my apartment to actually make good use of an HD antenna, but this worked out perfectly. I'm not sure what stations I'm not getting, but I am getting over 60 HD stations which include all the big broadcasters most people would gravitate to.

It worked straight out of the box, but did take some manipulating for it work as good as it does. This was primarily attaching it to the wall as high as I could. I live on the second floor of a building, so I can't say my results would be as good if I lived lower.

This is the first antenna that picks up all my local tv channels. I am about 45 miles away from the broadcast towers and this antenna picks up every channel. Even my Philips amplified antenna did not pick up all the channels consistently under all conditions. Very happy with this purchase and i am planning to buy another one in the near future for my other TVs. Goodbye cable bills!
