Didn't Work
Didn't help my signal at all. Plus the design requires a coax cable for power input. Not worth the $$$ at all.

Works like a charm!
Highly recommend this product if you are having issues with weak signal. I bought this because I wanted a TV in my garage, but when I put a splitter on the main line before it entered my house it completely knocked out most channels on my HDTV. I was worried that this wouldn't work either since I was essentially cutting the power to my house in half, but after installing it I was thrilled with the results. I have 6 outlets in my house with cable internet and still got great results using this at the the source and splitting it to a new TV. The TV in the garage works great and all the TV's in the house work perfectly, including my HDTV and on demand services. And the product arrived in just two days to boot! Couldn't be happier.

as advertised
I use this device to boost the signal and split the cable to use with a standard cable box and a wintv pc tuner. Without it the signals would come in at about half strength and cause my cable box to drop some channels and loose quality on others. I installed this device where the cable enters the room and now the signal is full strength on both the cable box and wintv tuner. Works great and I didn't have to install it at the cable's entry point to the house.

Solved my HD antenna problem in Phoenix
I just installed this adjacent to my attic-mounted HD antenna (Winegard HD-1080) and it fixed my problem, namely, channel 3.1 in Phoenix would come in all blocky. After adding the drop amplifier near the antenna in the attic, channel 3 cleared up on both TVs. I'm a happy camper.

Works very well, but no power cable included
i got this to boost my signal for cable internet. it works very well and has also cleaned up the video quality as well.

the only thing is, if you want to be able to use this device as soon as you get it, you will either have to have an extra coaxial video cable available, or order one with the amplifier. while an ac adapter plug is included in the package, the coaxial cable needed to connect the amp and adapter is not.
