Panasonic RQ-L31 Portable Cassette Recorder with Slide Microphone

I'm enjoying this product. It has so many great features and will allow me to transfer some of my best cassettes tapes to my PC - burning them to a CD.

This is a product which a visually impaired person has used for years with great ease and success. I am glad to see we were able to order another for her. The durability is great!

I use this cassette recorder all the time. It is small and portable, so I can take it with me everywhere. I listen to books on tape. This is a perfect recorder to put in your pocket while you are walking, doing chores, doing yardwork, or just sitting by a fire while camping. Get lots of batteries and enjoy!

The tape recorder is exactly what I wanted and seems to operate nicely.
I'm surprised that it didn't come with a plastic case. I really haven't had a chance to use it for the purpose I intended (language training and personal counseling)...I will only know this after the holidays..

I got my recorder about 3-4 months ago. So far, so good. I have used it for voice recording with good results. I also like the fact it has jacks for ac adapter, external microphone and earphones. It takes standard cassette tapes. To me that is a plus.

I do handle it with reasonable care. It is plastic, so take care of it and you will probably get good service.
