Panasonic RQ2102 Shoe Box Recorder

I always love this recorder because the sound looks great. It has a speaker grille that is slotted, instead of one of the meshey holes that are found in
sterrio boom boxes.
One of my school teachers has that kind of recorder, and they had used it for both music and speech, as well as recording assignments for students.

I also have a Table Top recorder from APH, but much bigger. Comparing to Panasonic's recorders, It is about eleven inches front-back, while the Panasonic's Shoe Box Recordder is only ten inches front to back.

My husband needed a new recorder to take with him to Contempory Practice. He records the songs and then learns them during the week. This recorder is easy to work, sounds very good & clear. He loves it and always carries it with him when he has something to record.

Thirty years ago I used thissame model tape player and recorder in my high school PRINCIPAL POSITION. i LIKED IT THEN AND i LIKE IT NOW..iT'S QUALITY AND EASE OF USE ARE EXCEPTIONAL. It is hard to believe thatthis machine is almost identical to the two I had back in 1970. It just goes to show you it really is a good machine. This item was purchased through Amazon. Had it deliver in five days or less. Great service. Also purchased "Jesus of Nazareth" by Pope Benedict. Same great service. Had it almost overnight it was so fast

Satisfactory in every way compared to the Sanyo which has too many defects to even list. The volume control is not convenient to use but that is not a major factor.

I have been a Panasonic fan for some time and ordered this recorder to replace a Radio Shack one of similar design that is no longer available. I found the recording level to be very low and found the machine generally well below my hopes for it.
