I wish there was an Opt out for these reviews. This product was a purchase for someone else. I know nothing about it and will not ever know anything about it, but as I keep getting notices to review this product, I have decided to do it in this manner. PLEASE ignore this review. I am unqualified to review it and Amazon needs to improve it's review proceess so gift purchases can opt out.I gave this product one star because I was force to give it a rating or this review would not be finished. this product is easy to use. the discs are scratch-proof and dust-proof. you can drop the discs and not mess your music up. they require less storage space for your library.the antiskip feature ensures enjoyable music experience.

MD quality rules
MDs are as virtual-CD in sound quality as my ear can detect. The software usually operates smoothly, too.

MD for a music lover
The MD player works great, the software is a little unstable, but still usable With a couple more updates It might be comparable to Itunes. From reading older reviews, I guess it's already been vastly improved. Don't let the software deter you from buying it though. The sound quality is OUTSTANDING. Converting the music to a Mini disc takes away virtually no sound quality. If you appreciate good sound quality then buy this.

This Walkman is...excellent!
This walkman is just...great! Sound in incredible, very easy to use and transferring music from your computer to this device is simple! Some folks would be desepointed because you can not record from an externel souce like with a microphone input or line input or transferring music from it to a computer. This device was not meant to be! It's a NET MD recorder, not a full one. It does perfectly what is was meant to be, no more, no less. For those who are searching for that king of product with that kind of specs, that's a very very good choice, especially for the price! (actually, I bought 2!)
