Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Silver (2nd Generation) OLD MODEL

This is the best iPod an easiest iPod to use. I tried the new shuffle an could not stand it. This is easy to use, sounds really good an works great. I would not recommend anything else

It's tiny, it has impressive battery life, it's a clip, it does what it claims. It's also survived quite a few accidental drops.

My only complaint is the planned obsolescence. Eventually the battery won't charge anymore - and there is no way to replace the battery so you'll just have to get a new player. Of course not having a screen is annoying, but that's an ok trade off for an unbreakable tiny thing that clips anywhere.

I just re-ordered this instead of getting the new shuffle because the new ones have the controls on the headphones. Not ok, because I lose and break headphones frequently and I am not going to keep buying special pricier headphones.

This is my second ipod shuffle and I absolutely love it. (My first shuffle lasted almost over two years of consistent use before the battery died.) The size is so perfect for everyday use. You can attach it to you shirt and go for a walk--it's very convenient and portable. I also like to take it with me when I travel--it's easy to pack and take anywhere. And, there is so much storage space I'm not even close to filling it up with all of the songs I like. For the value of the money, the size, and portability, you can't go wrong with the ipod shuffle. It makes a wonderful gift too. Even if someone already owns an mp3 player, I would purchase this one for the ease of use and size.

I got this item for my Birthday or Christmas or something 3 or 4 years ago. I absolutly love it! I'm not adding songs all the time, so 250 goes a long way for me. It's small, made of highly recyclable aluminum exterior, and it's fairly simple to use. Although it doesn't have a screen, i had to save up for an 8 gb. Ipod touch for all my Friday Night Cranks needs. But considering the size, i understand why it doesn't have a screen. 12 hours at a time per full charge means i only have to charge it... about once every 1-2 weeks. but that's just me.

I would reccomend this to first time Ipod Buyers/Users because you don't have to read a manual to figure it out. You just need to figure out Itunes, download a few songs, and the rest is self explainatory. It's small, so it's very portable, and it can clip onto you sleeve, or belt, or whateverso it's easy to use at the gym.
