Works great
Does what it supposed to do. I bought it more for the Netflix feature than the Blu-Ray feature. Can't remember the last time I played a Blu Ray disk...Works great...would definitely recommend to those who need a new player and network streaming (network via Ethernet cable...no internal wireless in this unit).

LG BD 370 - Good basic machine
This machine has worked well for us, in particular, the Netflix streaming is very well implemented. The software seems to be very reliable, and it goes and finds it's own updates too. Sound and video from Blue Ray titles is excellent.

On the not so great side, DVD-A (DVD Audio) is a hit or miss proposition with the machine, and CD sound is poor unless you use the Digital Out connection and run it through a high quality DAC. Also, upsampled video is very good with DVD's that do not have the newest copy protection on them. The new "super" protected disks confound the machine's ability to up-sample video to 1080p.

Still, at the current price for the machine, it is a very good bargain, and will work well for most people.

Great but you must wire direct.
Mine is wired direct to my internet modem. Great for streaming from Netflix and YouTube. My regular DVD's are greatly enhanced. This is a discontinued model so beware if you want the newer model.

Great, easy to use player outstanding pic quality
I bought this unit with a LG37LH50 1080 HD tv. Very easy set up using an HD cord, also from Amazon. Quality of the movies, even those not blu-ray, is so clear that I can't even imagine how it could be better. Controller is easy to understand and use - very user friendly, unlike my last unit that I never did fully understand.

I have not hooked it up to receive online, Netflix, Cinemax or Youtube. It requires a splitter, running a second cable, a modem or going wireless. It is not a feature that is important to me since I receive Netflix by mail, and Charter cable HD gives me access to all the movie channels and many free channels as well.

Great Bluray
I bought this Blue ray player to go with my LG LCD TV. Great match and no problem with use.
