Worked great once hoked up, my ONLY complaint is that the extra sound jecks going to my stereo ONLY work with the DVD player.

Great DVD/VCR combo player
This DVD/VCR player combo, hooked up very easily. I didn't have a coaxial cable attachment, so you need a newer TV to hook it up to. So far it works great. No cmplaints.

Price Worthy
For the price -- it's very basic but fits my needs to play DVDs and VCR tapes and also records on VCRs.

High Quality Item
There are very few DVD/VCR player combo units that are now available. Most are from lower quality brands like Magnavox, Memorex or Sylvania. None of these compare to this JVC unit. The JVC DVD/VCR is a very High Quality Item. It takes about 5 minutes to hook up and you are ready to go. The picture is beautiful and the sound is great. If you do not need a Blu-ray player and you still have VCR tapes to play, then this is the DVD/VCR player combo for you. I highly recommend it!

Terrible product
I would recommend to all that contemplate purchasing any JVC combo units to look at other manufacturers. My unit's VCR side died shortly after purchase.
