Sony WAHT-SA10 Wireless rear stereo amplifier

Contrary to prior reviews I had an excellent experience with this speaker wireless system. I plugged it in to the power, hooked up the speakers, and the rear speakers just worked. No settings changes, and no interference with my wireless phones or WIFI. In fact, I am sitting about 5 feet from the WAHT-SA10 and sending this via WIFI. One caution - you will need to spend another $50 or so for the wireless transmitter than is also required but not furnished with this unit or most Sony systems.

Although it is a good addition to the surround system to avoid running wires through your living room (if bought with the S-Air transmitter), it has one major problem - the device's signal interferes with my cordless phone and WIFI. Currently I have the device turned off most of the time unless I am having a movie night. On the other hand, the quality of the sound is crisp.

I do regret purchasing the produced but I hope that Sony can come up with another way of connecting the back speaker wirelessly and avoid interfering with cordless phones and WIFI and have it pre-installed with the surround system.

I love this kit. The sound quality is top notch and the headphone jack saves me from cables everywhere. I love this.
